1. admmc7, May 7, 2020, Toronto: to Be Held as Live Event Online

Yesterday, the World Health Organization (WHO) has classified the current spreading of SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) as pandemia. Even before that, Nations in Europe, the Americas and Asia have restricted air travel to and from particular countries. Globally active raw materials and drymix mortar producers also installed travel bans to protect their employees from infections.

In this situation, drymix.info has decided to hold the next event, The 7th American Drymix Mortar Conference admmc7, scheduled to take place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on May 7, 2020 as Live Event Online. Preparation work concerning our new platform is under way since Monday, we will be in touch shortly with the scheduled lecturers.

For those of you that have already registered and paid the admission fee, your pass will be converted into a ticket for our Live Event Online. From the balance, we deduct an administrative fee of 35 Euro and credit the rest back to you. This fee includes the sending of our new Drymix Mortar Yearbook 2020 by registered mail to you (see item 3 below).

Special options exist for sponsors now, we will be in touch with Almatis, Azelis (for BASF), Bischof + Klein, Dow, Elotex, Haver Filling Systems, Imerys Aluminates, Laticrete, LB Technology, Mapei, Poraver, Superior Sprayed Systems, Sofraden/Actemium and Wacker Chemie shortly. Of course additional sponsors and support is encouraged.

I will certainly miss the great atmosphere during the event itself, the personal exchange with all of you and the casual welcome. But I think it is prudent do do this conference as Live Online Event. It can be fun, too.

Admission to the admmc7 Life Event Online is 90 Euro, reduced for drymix.info, MEDMA and SEADMA members and partners to 60 Euro, drymix mortar manufacturers pay only 30 Euro. Only individual admissions are possible.

Remark: of course we will organize the real event admmc7, it will take place in Toronto, ON, Canada in 2021, most likely on April 22, 2021.

We certainly hope that there will be no need to postpone any of these events and ask for your understanding for all our measures.

Encouraged by our delegates in Australia last week and also by the fact that we just had to convert our conference in Toronto to a Live Online Event, drymix.info has decided to intensify the subscription and mailing to our brand new Drymix Mortar Yearbook 2020.
