Mais de 100 especialistas do setor são esperados na 7ª Conferência Latino-Americana de Argamassa Drymix ladmmc seven na próxima segunda-feira no Espaço Escandinavo, São Paulo, Brasil. A drymix.info firmou parceria com a informa/World of Concrete, os anfitriões e organizadores da Latin American Concrete Show, que acontece de terça-feira, 8 a quinta-feira, 10 de agosto de 2023 no São Paulo Expo. Por conta disso, cada delegado do ladmmc seven também será pré-inscrito no Concrete Show, nos encontramos lá na terça-feira, 8 de agosto, 16h, no estande de informações para visita guiada e recepção posterior.

Para os delegados que já estiverem na cidade no domingo, 23/06: estaremos no Fogo de Chão Vila Olímpia a partir das 19h para um rodísio, junte-se a nós se quiser (cada um paga a conta).

Over 100 industry experts are being expected at The 7th Latin American Drymix Mortar Conference ladmmc seven next Monday at Espaço Escandinavo, São Paulo, Brasil. drymix.info has entered into a partnership with informa/World of Concrete, the hosts and organizers of Latin American Concrete Show taking place from Tuesday 8. to Thursday, 10. August 2023 at São Paulo Expo. Due to this, each delegate to ladmmc seven will also be pre-registered to Concrete Show, we meet there on Tuesday, 8. August, 16:00 at the informa booth for a guided tour and a reception later.

For delegates already in town in Sunday, 6AUG23: we will be at Fogo de Chão Vila Olímpia from 19:00 for a rodisio, do join us if you wish (everybody pays her/his own bill).

2. First TESTING DAY, Berlin, Germany, on 21. September 2023 (sponsored content)

TESTING Bluhm und Feuerherdt GmbH is inviting laboratory experts from the construction materials industry to their new plant in Berlin-Marienfelde for the First TESTING DAY on 21. September 2023, 9:00. TESTING has partnered up with laboratory equipment manufacturers IMKO, Memmert, NEXOPART, Pemat, Proceq, QAVERtec and Ultratest so a complete range for material analysis and testing will be there for the delegates to try out in several workshops. A plant tour, training sessions and calibration demonstrations complete the program. After the practical training the hosting companies invite to a casual Get-Together in the evening, with food, drink and a live band on the TESTING premises.

Admission to the First TESTING DAY is 35 Euro, pre-registration is mandatory by e-mail to marketing@testing.de. Conference languages are English and German.

4. The 7th India Drymix Mortar Conference, Mumbai, 17. October 2023: Program

For the first time after the health crisis, the international drymix mortar community meets in booming India again: The 7th India Drymix Mortar Conference takes place in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on Tuesday, 17. October 2023 -  immediately before World of Concrete India. Our Technical Chairmen are Mr. Gopinathan Chemmannoor (Coimbratore) and Dr. Sumon Chakravarty (Jaipur). 5. The 16th Annual SEADMA Conference, Bogor, Indonesia, 23. November 2023

The South East Asia Drymix Mortar Association SEADMA, together with its local Chapter Promindo, invites construction materials experts from throughout ASEAN and Eastern Asia to its 16th Annual Conference in Bogor, Indonesia, on 23. November 2023, our location is the magnificent royal style Novotel there. SEADMA is proud to announce the cooperation with Prof. Iswandi Imran, President of Indonesia Construction Contractors Association HAKI (Himpunan Ahli Konstruksi Indonesia - HAKI) who will give a greeting address in Bogor in November. The Call for Papers recently ended, we will publish the program in our next Newsletter.

6. Mark Your Calendars: Drymix Mortar Yearbook 2024, Sydney, Manchester, Monterrey 2024

6.1.    drymix.info is calling for entries to the upcoming Drymix Mortar Yearbook 2024, which will be distributed in Sydney, Manchester, Monterrey, Istanbul, Bangkok and Abu Dhabi next year. Submission ends 01DEC23 (publication fees apply - but this IS a great way to reach out to your clients!)
6.2.    drymix.info is announcing the 6th Australia Drymix Mortar Meeting to take place in Sydney, New South Wales on 22. February 2024 (exact location tbd.). The Call for Papers ends 31OCT23, it is available from drymix.info.
6.3.    drymix.info is announcing the FIRST Great Britain and Ireland Drymix Mortar Meeting (and Golf Tournament!) to take place near Manchester, Great Britain on 25 and 26 April 2024 (exact location tbd.). The Call for Papers ends 30NOV23, it is available from drymix.info.
6.4.    drymix.info is announcing the 5th Central American Drymix Mortar Meeting (with practical system demonstrations) to take place in or near Monterrey, NL, Mexico on 27 and 28 June 2024 (exact location tbd.). The Call for Papers ends 31JAN24, it is available from drymix.info.

7. Sika Takes over Mining-Expert Thiessen Team USA

Sika of Baar, Switzerland, takes over Thiessen Team USA of Elko, NV, USA, a manufacturer of shotcrete and grouting products. Thiessen Team USA serves the American mining industry for rare earths needed for battery production. Sika is expecting significant cross-selling potential and an expansion within the American mining sector, above all due to rising demand for the production of E-Vehicles. A transaction value has not been disclosed by either party. Sika already has established its position within the mining industry North America with its previous acquisition of King Packaged Materials in Canada in 2019 (we reported earlier).
