2. BAU 2021, 13. to 15. January 2021: Mostly Virtual with Live Broadcasts

The Board of Messe München GmbH, Munich, Germany has decided recently to modify the format of BAU 2021: The largest construction materials and technology show in the World has been shortened by 3 days and takes place as "hybrid" event from 13. to 15. January 2021. In its new concept, Messe München intends to move away from an entirely physical event towards a combination of a classic show (in one or two halls of Messe München) with online offers and the traditional conference style lectures at International Congress Center München ICM (right on the fairgrounds) which will also be broadcast live for those international exhibitors and visitors who can not come this time due to travel restrictions. Messe München had to take this step because many former exhibitors had already cancelled their live appearance at BAU 2021 in the wake of the Corona Pandemic. The digital part of the offer will be continued and become part of the "classic" BAU 2023 again.
