1. Taking Shape: 3rd Mortar-Convention on 7. May 2020

drymix.info is proud to present its 3rd Mortar-Convention (Live Event Online) on May 7, 2020 from 9 am to 5 pm EST (CET 15:0 to 23:00). As reported earlier, this event replaces the 7th American Drymix Mortar Conference admmc7, scheduled to take place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on May 7, 2020 (we will hold admmc7 in April or May 2021). as Live Event Online. Our program will feature almost all scheduled lecturers of admmc7 and even more. Instead of having the local restriction to northern America, we are now staging an international event, we already have registrations from Australia, South Africa, the Middle East and India (apart from those from Europe and the US! This is an amazing chance for our industry to meet virtually for an exchange of ideas and for the preparation of the time after Corona.

The 3rd Mortar-Convention will feature 12 to 20 lectures by drymix mortar experts, chat opportunities for all delegates, Q&A sessions and most likely virtual company lounges ("circles"). It will be available online for paying delegates only. The content will be accessible on www.drymix.info for those delegates even after the event.

Currently, our scheduled lecturers are working on the online versions of their presentations, and sponsors evaluate our new packages. Since we have more time at hand (no networking breaks, this I will miss most!), drymix.info members and partners are being given the chance to submit lectures and product presentations until next Thursday, 9. April 2020.

Admission to the 3rd Mortar-Convention is 90 Euro, reduced for drymix.info, MEDMA and SEADMA members and partners to 60 Euro. Drymix mortar manufacturers pay only 30 Euro. Only individual admissions are possible. All delegates already registered for admmc7 have a free pass for the 3rd Mortar Convention - no need to do anything now.

2. 4th Mexico Drymix Mortar Meeting: Postponed for one Year to 12. July 2021

In order to prevent further spreading of the Sars Covid-2 pandemic, the Mexican Government has recently issued regulations restricting individual travel and conduct, resembling a partial curfew . At this point in time, given the dynamic situation all around the globe, we must again change our schedule: together with our supporters in Mexico, Meliza, Macarena and Carlos and with advice from our supporters Wacker Chemie, JRS Mexicana, Cemix and Crest, we have decided to move our meeting to Monday, July 12, 2021. This date has the advantage that the Latin American Coatings Show starts the next day and thus our delegates can profit from yet another industry attraction in Mexico City.

We will keep the admission rates for this particular event identical with those in 2020, registrations already completed and paid for will be carried over to the meeting in 2021. If you can or will not attend in 2021, we can also credit your paid admission back at the posted conditions (90% refund, please let us know).

Attention contributors to our program: please confirm if your lecture or product presentation will also be available on July 12, 2021.

3. 4th Philippine Drymix Mortar Meeting - Postponed (again!) into Fall 2020

The Philippines seem to be less affected by the spreading of the corona virus than many Nations all around the globe, however, there is no end in sight for travel restrictions until mid-summer. We fear now that our international delegates can not travel to The Philippines, with so many airlines having stopped their service to the entire ASEAN region. This is why The Philippine Drymix Mortar Manufacturer's Association (PhilDMMA) and the South East Asia Drymix Mortar Association SEADMA, Ltd. have to re-scheduled the 4th Annual Philippine Drymix Mortar Meeting (again): we now have decided to even postpone it into Fall 2020. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Already purchased admissions remain valid. The new date will be posted in our next Newsletter (hopefully!)
