The Middle Drymix Mortar Association MEDMA invited contractors, consultants, architects and developers to its third workshop. An Exclusive Workshop for Contractors, Consultants and Developers in the United Arab Emirates.

Event Description

On the one hand, the governments of several Emirates have visions about „green UAE“ and have issued ordnances concerning energy saving, especially for buildings. On the other hand, the key technology External Insulation and Finishing Systems EIFS has been under scrutiny in the past five years, less and less permits have been issued to properly insulate the buildings.
By a joint effort of MEDMA and the drymix mortar industry, working with Civil Defence authorities and the Municipalities, the situation for installing has been greatly improved and consultants and developers are enabled (again) to specify EIFS and thus reach the climate change goals issued by the rulers of the Emirates.

The third MEDMA workshop presented this new possibility and gave consultants and contractors technical information about state-of-the-art in EIFS to obtain long-lasting, sustainable quality. The members of MEDMA put together a comprehensive program, where experts spoke on the various technical and application aspects of modern construction adhesives.
